Botswana to ban “canned hunting”
Great step forward from Botswana. The practice of Canned Hunting involves raising lions and other animals as cubs – often using volunteers to raise them – and charging to allow tourists to pet them. When the animals are too big to be petted, they are taken to an enclosed area where they can be ‘hunted’ and killed for a big fee.
